Just goes to show you, that open source can turn around a security problem ten times faster than MS. Just this week, a new security problem was found in Office- - -let's see how fast MS issues a patch.

All users of OpenOffice.org 1.1.4 are urged to download and install this security patch. It addresses a problem noted in a recent advisory...
This patch fixes the problem in 1.1.4 but not in earlier or subsequent releases.
We suggest that users of releases prior to 1.1.4 upgrade by downloading either 1.1.4 and the patch, or waiting until a modified version of 2.0beta is released.
Users of 2.0beta and beyond are requested to download OpenOffice.org 1.9.95. It will include the patch and be ready shortly.
