I (stupidly) tried to install an application from logmein.com on a vista machine. It didn't work correctly (since it wasn't made for vista). Afterwards, I noticed I cannot get a picture for my desktop background. The solid colors work, but whenever I try to to select a picture, nothing happens.

Also on a side note, I noticed that my calculator has gone missing. The shortcut is there, but it doesn't link to the file. I went looking for the file and it is missing.

Any ideas on how to solve either problem?

Try System Restore to a point before the installation of LogMeIn - does that help?
