Welcome to bleepingcomputer!
First of all, did you remember to put the copper stand-offs between the motherboard and case? Also, check all your connection, especially the 4 or 8-pin cpu power connector. If that is all correct, I have reason to believe it is a ram problem. Try it with another system. Take the ram out and try to start the computer, and it should appear to turn on, but it won't post . You have two sticks of 4gb ram? Can you tell us what the specific type of ram is, including model number and type? -------------------- |

I have the copper spacers installed, I have 4 GB of apacer UNB PC2-6400 CL5 (2x2GB) RAM. I think that the ram is the problem, I just got cheap stuff to get up and running, and I think I'm paying for that now.

Do you have the RAM modules populated properly?

I agree, check the slot placement of the ram, and double check the sockets one may have become dislodged.
