BleepingComputer.com: Laptop Touchpad Malfunction - Unable To "click" On Stuff

Hi, I recently noticed that I have some sort of touchpad error on my laptop where I can't click on anything by tapping my finger on it, I have to use the button below it. I can still use my touchpad to scroll around and stuff, I just can't click on anything. I was wondering if there is anything at all I could do (maybe there's something I accidentely changed on the control panel) or if this is some type of malfunction beyond your scope..system information is shown below (I just copied like everything I didn't know what you wanted lol). thanks a ton!!!!

Have you had a look in Control Panel/Mouse/TouchPad settings? That's where they are in my Acer Home Premium laptop.

Yes I did, but I couldn't find anything that would solve the problem. It said that the system was working properly... it might be some hardware error but I'm just double checking with u guys

oh wow rowal5555...i just double checked the control panel after my previous post just to make sure and it looks like I completely overlooked this one option! haha it works now i feel stupid....thanks for the help!!

The only other thing I can suggest, is to see if there is an icon in the system tray. Right clicking on that gives me the option to tap/click on the touchpad.

If the icon is not in the systray, you will find the option to show it in the control panel.

That's fine. If we didn't make mistakes, we wouldn't end up here, LOL. Good on ya.
