IDE= Older hard drives and CD/DVD-ROM SATA = newer hard drives EIDE = ?????? PATA= ????? (Is this floppy?) SCSI = Expensive. Hot swappable. Can some one confirm that for me? Also do hard drives or RAM need drivers? If hard drives do how would they function with out a previous file system or operating system on the drive?
