When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Usual methods have not worked to remove it. Windows XP

I scanned with ad-aware, spybot and they did not find it.

I blocked the web pages that pop up but they continue to show up. searchfeed.com, ad.outerinfoads.com, ad for spyware shows up.

desktop has message "your computer has several fatal erros, etc. and a link to click to scan for spyware. I did not click on link but checked properties and it goes to http://w444.471]http://windows-privacy-protection.com/?aid=444.471

My taskmgr was disabled and I had to go to regedit to get it back working. Did not find windows-privacy-protection on processes however.

What am I looking for to remove or delete?

ran hijack this and posted results in proper hijack forum.

If you've post a log in a HijackThis forum you should wait to hear back from them before making any changes to your system.
