Recently im having a problem with my internet browser which is preventing me to post messages and accept applications on sites like facebook. The message prompt that appears is as follows; ''An error has occured in the script on this page. As a result, this page might not display or function properly. Error: 'window.inboxAttachments' is null or not an object Line: 71 URL:http://www.facebook.com/inbox/readmessage.php?t=1004831133059&mbox_pos=0'' Please let me know how this is resolved since this is the first time i have come across this and i am a bit confused to what this means or how to fix it. Hello Liquid_Snake,
The error basically means that there is something wrong or incorrect coding with the site you are visiting. Usually this sort of error happens rarely, does this error appear on every site you are visiting? Also, what browser and version are you using? -------------------- Regards

My default internet explorer is BT Yahoo Broadband. But i can also use internet explorer which is version 7. |

I've tried FireFox but i seem to be having the same problem.
Since its on facebook, is it possible the script error is only specific to that website? |

If it still happens using different browser than odds are that its the site at fault. Given a large complex site like facebook I wouldn't be surprised if its a problem at their end.
The best way to proceed is to alert facebook to the error and let them fix it. -------------------- Regards

Chances are pretty good it's not Facebook itself but an ad that's causing the script error. This kind of error tends to come up when graphics have been done incorrectly. You get the error when the ad tries to load.

To stop adverts and popups I have found that updating my HOSTS file and using Firefox with the no script extension works perfectly.
http://www.abelhadigital.com/ hosts man https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722 no script. -------------------- Regards
