ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.
To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Now the stupid BSOD screensaver is all that's left. I can't seem to find out how to get rid of it. It shows in my list fo screensavers as "blphcjh6j0e11l" but I can;t find a file anywhere on my computer with that name. Anyone have any ideas? Look for the name of that file in the Windows/System32 folder, ending in *.scr The file will end in .scr for screensaver. Wife had the infection last Sunday and we finally cleared it up Tuesday, following the advice given from this forum. Also, make sure you have the screensaver and desktop tabs in your Display Properties, ans antivirus XP 2008 is known to remove them.. Do a search on Desktop tab missing from Display Properties for instructions on how to restore them.

Download FileASSASSIN FA_Portable.zip and save to your desktop (this tool is compatible with Win 2000/NT/XP/Vista only).
