Spybot S&D update.exe?

Well when updating my Spybot recently. My perfect proecess shield detected that it downloaded update.exe and it was spyware/adware??, what is update.exe is it adware? is it part of or Spybot?

Doesnt sound right. You still have the file?

There is in fact a file with that name (as a check in the Spybot folder in My Programs will show), but it should have been downloaded with the rest of the application. Since I am not acquainted with "perfect process shield" I can only guess that it may have been warning you that it was in use or was being updated.

Well i deleted the file cause it was scaring me =/ :thumbsup: nothing wrong with anything so i guess its fine

ACtually it wasnt running fine, i couldent update or something =/, so i re downloaded Spybot and of course update came agian so my question is now.. shoul di leave it? caus ei think spybot needs it

Yes you can leave it. Seems to be part of spybot so thats ok
