The biggest part of what I salvaged was the LCD: http://insightahoy.com/pix/lcdback.jpg http://insightahoy.com/pix/lcdfront.jpg The LCD Cord would plug into the graphics card here: http://insightahoy.com/pix/lcdcord.jpg http://insightahoy.com/pix/graphicscardf.jpg Grahpics card w/ HeatSink : http://insightahoy.com/pix/graphicscardf.jpg http://insightahoy.com/pix/graphicscardback.jpg I wana be able to get that monitor working the most, anyone know of a converter? Or even a motherboard that would handle that graphics card. A mobile motherboard by chance? |

I'm never one to say it's impossible but there has to be a point where you spend more money than it cost to buy a new one. I'm afraid what you are attempting to do, you will reach that point rather quickly

I had a similar problem a few years ago, with my son spilling some water on his Dell Inspiron --- fried the mobo. I went on ebay and found the same model really cheap, as it had a cracked screen. Bought it, changed mobo's, and it worked (still does) fine. Cost me around $180, I believe. Plus, it had a hard drive with twice the capacity, which I used.
