I hooked my laptop up to my Plasma TV via S-video and for the sound, RCA to headphone jack. It works fairly well, but with two issues:

1) The video input is bigger than the TV screen. To explain, when I see my desktop on the TV screen and I move the cursor to the far edges of the screen, the screen scrolls a little bit. The movies play, but they are cropped on the sides. Where or how can I adjust this to make the input from the computer fit the TV screen?

2) The sound is muffled. I don't have a receiver hooked up yet and I tinkered with the sound adjustments in the movie player and on the laptop, but I can't figure out how to make it better. Any ideas?

Thanks, please post your thoughts on these issues.
