Hi all I have been trying to Delete some programes from my Laptop. After removing a few I tried to run another program and I got a message stating that ShellManager was missing or corrupt. I tried a system Restore but it was still missing. I am running Windows XP
Please Help.

Hello Big Geoff,

Could I ask what programs you are trying to delete and the steps taken to do this?

Also, could you look in the event viewer located in administrative tools in the control panel for any errors or warnings and post back the details of these.

I have looked into event viewer & there is a list as long as your arm, some have got Yellow warning signs & some with Red circles with white a Cross in them, all the others have word ballons with a Blue i in them.
Hope this helps.

I imagine nero is the cause of the problem, did you use their own removal tool? if you didn't it can be downloaded from here

If you double click on the red ones in the event viewer and post back as much information on them as possible.
