Explore.exe and iexplore.exe continually crash giving an error report. If you click send or don't send the program restarts giving the error report again but if you leave the report up but move it to the side the program runs fine. The event logs are:

This computer did have many virus/mal-ware, including vundo and monder.gen. Through the use of this forum I have been able to clean but there may be remnants that are causing this...
kasper virus scan currently show clean with a critical area scan. a full scan is currently running.
all Microsoft updates have been done and system restore has been disabled.

thanks in advance,
mike magdech

Done any scans for malware, other than using Kaspersky?

There is no one program that does it all.

Some posts that I have seen with these types of errors...indicate malware.

I would suggest an independent scan of your system. It could be that a virus has corrupted your current protection and is giving false answers to the scans.

Try a couple of these free, online scanners to see if anything has slipped by your protection:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)

If a couple of the above scans come out clean, then we can start trying to troubleshoot the exact issue that's causing both iexplore and explorer to crash.

We don't generally recommend registry scans here. At best they appear to be useless, at worst they will cause problems with the OS. Her'es a link about the myths behind registry scanners/cleaners: http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=61015
