Hi,

My problem is i use a VX 1000 webcam with built in mic, i use the the mic for any other sound recording i do (not a lot) all of a sudden the mic is Disappearing out of "recording devices" in vista i tried uninstalling an reinstalling drivers that works till i reboot then its gone again, only way i get it back is go to device manager and uninstall the webacm then click "scan for hardware changes" button and let it reinstall drivers and it comes back in "recording devices" and all is well until the next reboot.

Any ideas it is doing this please.

Andy
