Hijack This and notepad... Not opening in notepad

Im having trouble getting my Hijack This log into notepad. I followed all the steps in tutorial. It opened once in both notepad and word??? But in encrypted text. What in the heck am I doing wrong? :thumbsup:

When you click on scan and then save log , name the log file and press the save buitton. It should then open it in notepad. Click on edit, then select all, then edit and copy and paste it into a new topic in the Hijackthis logs forum or a reply if you have an existing topic
