Internet explorer wont open is there any ideas on how to get it open?

And i can get on IRC ( internet relay chat ) and msn but not teamspeak and a few other programs.

Any ideas on whats causing this?

Oh yeah.. when i open it, it says internet explorer cannot be displayed in error messege.

I have also scanned its found 2 things and got rid of them.

Are you using IE6 or IE7?

Try the Resolution in Error message:"Page Cannot be Displayed" when you browse the Internet.

If no joy, you may also want to try some troubleshooting with How to determine and to recover from Winsock2 corruption in Windows.
