This is driving me friggin nuts. It only happens on my computer and not my wife's computer. I am running XP and have been using myyahoo homepage for years.

Anytime I am on the yahoo home page and see an interesting article under Top Stories or Sports or Business by Reuters, I click to view the article which then appears normally. Then after about 2 seconds, the website gets redirected to "res://ieframe.dll/http_400.htm" which shows HTTP 400 BAD REQUEST.

I wrote Yahoo help and they suggested that I clear my cache/browsing history/etc...

The problem is still there.

What else could be causing this to happen?

When I tried to google for an answer, nothing came up.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Key word to use when searching is "ieframe.dll" Are you current with all Microsoft Updates and SP3? It can also be an issue with your firewall. You're only using one, correct? Try Firefox instead of IE7 and see if it still happens

Thank you for getting me pointed in the right direction.

Mozilla will work and eliminate the problem.

I prefere IE7 but at least I have an option until I can find the solution.

I tried all microsoft updates as well as spyware removal without success....
