Q - What do you use to make these graphics?
A - We use several different software solutions. Here are a few recommendations for editing and creating graphics:
Complete solutions are software suites that will allow you to create just about any type of graphic your imagination can dream up.
Photo Shop - (PS) - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/main.html
Paint Shop Pro - (PSP) - http://www.jasc.com/products/paintshoppro/
Corel Draw Graphics Suite - (CD) http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pag...d=1042153079054
FireWorks - http://www.macromedia.com/software/fireworks/
PhotoImpact - (Ulead) - http://www.ulead.com/pi/runme.htm
Editors not listed above.
The Gimp - (Gimp) - http://www.gimp.org/
Resizing and file format conversion
IfranView - http://www.irfanview.com/
Animators
Animation Shop - http://www.jasc.com/product.asp?pf_id=003
Gif Animator - http://www.ulead.com/ga/runme.htm
Edit - PSP can do almost everything PS can do. I highly recomend look at it.

One app I'd like to share for movie editting/creating is CinePaint formerly named FilmGIMP.
Quote
CinePaint is a free open source painting and image retouching program designed to work best with 35mm film and other high resolution high dynamic range images. It is the most popular open source tool in the motion picture industry -- used in 2 Fast 2 Furious, Scooby-Doo, Harry Potter, Stuart Little and other feature films
