I do not think its fallen by the wayside, but thats what happens when you deal with free software. You are stuck at the authors time to work. May be on a vacation

From Official Spybot Forums

"bitman" said:

As of this date and time as already indicated by others in previous posts, Spybot's Integrated Update is broken. This is NOT a problem with your local copy of Spybot and you can't fix it yourself, except to download the Updates directly as also mentioned in the other threads.

The problem is with the main 'spybotsd.ini' file contained on the 'security.kolla.de/updates/' site. This file is either damaged or truncated on that site since it truncates when downloaded at the '[-Mirrors.disabled]' section as shown below. This results in the 'No newer Updates Available' message since there are none listed in this file, which Spybot has no way of knowing is damaged.

~ Spybot S&D's update problem seems to be resolved.

I received a "Detection Rules" and an "Immunize Fix" update this morning.

yanowhiz.

It's buggy, because it's a beta.

I know that, but how much longer is it going to be beta?

Anywho what I find cool about it is, it scans your bookmarks and cookies in Firefox  :flowers: The first time I ran the beta, it found like 1000 cookies from firefox (boy, i'm lazy, lmao) and I started freaking out thingy it was spyware... until I looked at the bottom left and saw that it was scanning firefox. :trumpet:
