I haven't made this PC yet but am hoping to. It will be my first build so please give me some advice on how to improve. And tell me weather the components are all compatible with each other.

Motherboard – Asus Striker II Formula
CPU – Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450

Sounds good, but I would not pay more then $220 for a 9800GTX. They aren't much better than an 8800Gt which are now down to about $170.

I'd give it a 6 of 10


That Asus Striker II I have seen lots of them fail and crash and BSOD and blah blah blah...

Otherwise looks pretty nice of a build.

Wait until the 9800 GTX+ comes out, nVidia should reduce the price of the regular 9800 GTX even more. What OS are you going to use? If you want to see and use all 4GB, you will need a 64-bit OS.
