More information would be helpful - what version of firefox? Have you tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling? Does this fix the problem - if not what happens?
If an uninstall and reinstall failed then: When was the last time you scanned for malware? Any updates performed recently? what? What security programs are you running? |

thanks for the link but it doesnt tell me how to keep it from happening so does that mean i have to restart my comp every time i want to start a new session in firefox?? i am so confused

i am still unable to use firefox to play pogo games i am fed up i do no know what to do and am ready to just delete firefox all together if someone cannot help me

This is one of the symptoms of the trojan Backdoor BDS/PoisonIvy.20.A (and similar variants).
There are other things that you can check first, though. Follow the intructions in this article, beginning with the section labeled, Legitimate explanations for the symptoms. If that doesn't work, follow the directions in the rest of the article. Firefox.exe always open -------------------- I love being married.

i dont think that is what i have cause it is not in the task manager i think firefox is just screwed up i deleted all of its folders and all of the files wherever i could find them is this ok?? I dont think i am gonna use firefox anymore so i hope i am done with the problems.
