Well my router, keeps disconnects everyday at a certain time, i used to have a timer on it but i took it out and still for some reason it still disconnects the same time as i have my timer on for the router.

Any suggestions on how to stop this?

hmm lets see. Try resetting your router. There should be a reset button on the back, probably a little red button.
I looked up US robotics router reset help and it said, "Press in and hold the RESET button for between five and ten seconds."
After this, ensure that your incoming connection is connected to your modem, then take the ethernet cable from the modem and connect it
to your router in the "internet or WLAN" port.
Try connecting to your router without configuring it, unless you have to for it to work. See if you can connect to it without security settings.

To make sure that the router is the problem. Try removing the router from your current setup and just use your modem and computer. If your able to connect to the internet that way then we know the router is kookoo.

I can help out more tomorrow, see you then.

Sounds like the best thing to do is buy a new router. Or hopefully your US robotics router is still new enough to return and replace.
The choice is now up to you. I would buy a new router and make sure it has a built in firewall.

While we can certainly appreciate that you got your issue resolved, it would possily help someone in the future if you gave some details as to what was wrong... and what you did to fix it?

Just my opinion. Glad your issue's sorted out.
