Hi. My comp got infected with many viruses including XPantivirus. I tried to remove as many as i could and also downloaded McAfee. But even now whenever i turn on the comp, these signals appear - SCVVHSOT.exe file not readable, winupdate.32.exe cannot be found, scvhost is trying to connect to internet. And XPantivirus is also popping up. I thought i should take a back up of important data before i lose anything but am not able to burn DVD/CD. Nero works till nearly the end but the burn option does not get highlighted. Also i am unable to open any CD/DVD - my comp just doesnt show the presence of a disc in D drive. Am posting this log file, hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Hi and Welcome to the forums.

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall
