My uncle who was overseas for World War II the people's war, speaks of many nights when they would hear the drone of a VI or a doodle bug as they were known.

As I drive in the congested traffic and see these smart "keep the air clean and the earth green " fellas putting their foot to the pedal on their bikes I think of all the emissions that they are breathing in from the ghastly exhaust pipes, I don't know how they can stand it!!

Hey kids, rock and roll.
Nobody tells you where to go, baby.
Maybe you did. maybe you walk.
Maybe you rock around the clock
Tick-tock. tick-tock.
Maybe I ride. maybe you walk.
Maybe I drive to get off, baby.

Beginning to think that I am wastin' time, don't understand the things that I do,
"Cause the world outside looks so unkind,
Now I'm countin' on you to carry me through,
Give me the beat boys, to soothe my soul I wanna get lost in you rock and roll and drift away.

Rod Stewart, "Atlantic Crossing" album

 great one "no one"!!!!
