For about a month, my FireFox has been taking almost a minute to load after I want to open it. The same applies to opening other windows of FireFox--if I were to send an email, the app slows down considerably. Oddly enough, this flaw doesn't apply to opening tabs, nor does it affect Explorer--just opening new windows of FireFox. I've cleared the cache and my cookies and such as well as run virus checks, but nothing helps. Is anybody willing to help me out, or will I need pro assistance? Thanks--HS

I would, but is there a simple fix or is that the easiest way?

Try opening Firefox Safe Mode from the Start menu. If it opens faster you probably have a corrupt/ incompatible add-on or profile.

No such luck--about the same time. Any other ideas?
