hi to all
can anyone tell me if vista has a firewall built into it? do i need one with this platform? my other laptop on XP professional was hacked and i am now trying to protect myself as much as possible so any help would be appreciated please

Windows Vista does have a firewall, it is a slightly better version than the one built into XP you can find it in the security center. However, some say it is good and others say it is bad. Do you have any other protection software on the system?
