Every thing that is associated with .exe has been changed to the media player. Can't change in control panel, default programs, set computer defaults as it is a .exe association? So anything related to .exe will not open right, this also means no regedit!. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Fixed, was able to boot to vista repair and did a system restore.
