Was over at ITVista.com, and they list “Windows Installer 4.5 available for download. Can not figure out if need this or not.
Running Vista Home Premium w/SP1 installed. Understand this program would run on my system. Just can not figure out why not included in automatic download. I’ve check and hasn’t been installed on my system during recent downloads.
Have been trying to figure out if already have Windows Installer 4.0 on my system without much luck.
Really got thrown for a loop after clicking on “Download now, which brings up a page which tells you “The link in this section correspond to separate file available in this download. Download the file most appropriate for you. Ya right!
Can anyone share their feelings on Windows Installer 4.5?
Thanks!

You shouldn't need to upgrade your Windows Installer unless you've got software that requires it. Otherwise, if stuff is installing OK, then you're OK. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
