Hello all,
a friend of mine found his monitor displaying "green" shades only, self diagnosed the problem as on-board video (a second monitor was hooked up and displayed the same), purchased a e-geforce 6200le pci-e card and got no display on re-boot! I was called, removed card, reinstalled, and worked fine. after re-boot, signal was on the onboard video only. repeat step two, same results, no video on new card after reboot. Driver has been updated, OS is WinXP, SP3.
Suggestions, other than pitching the eMachine
?
Thanks,
Arelles

You should be able to disable the onboard video in the bios. Also, if you go into device manager, and click the display adapters tab, you can disable the integrated graphics from there.
