I thought General chat was a place to chat about things.

I have noticed that my topics get closed.

Am I in trouble?

I've only seen one of your topics being closed. Its most likely because you asked a question, and it was answered, and since it wasnt a question which could generate lots of discussion, there really is no need to keep it open.

Back in the days when I used to be a global moderator, I was forever closing topics which either was full of spam and off topic, or arguments, or because it was not a suitable discussion. If the reason why it was closed was in some way bad for the community, I would post a message in the thread, then close it, and if serious, I would PM the member(s) concerned.

So I dont think you're in any trouble. Dont be alarmed or anything like that

I bet this gets closed in a while :flowers:

dark messenger,

Thanks for the reply..

I was wanting to be sure I was not blundering around in here ignorantly abusing the site.

Again Thanks,

I closed the one post in General Chat that you refer to. It's the only post that has been closed to date.

It had run it's course and since I once again provided a link to the question that you asked, there was no longer a need to leave the thread open to further discussion.

One topic closed. Not topics

And NO, you are not in trouble. Yet. (That's a joke!)
The only easy day was yesterday.

...some do, some don't; some will, some won't (WR)
