Hi Martel
HowardForums is an excellent phone forum. As far as the software is concerned, I bought my first phone from my local provider and had to pay for the phone tools software. I bought the other from the web and received the software free - Tiger Direct. -------------------- "In a world where you can be anything, be yourself." ~ unknown

There are settings in the phone to allow communications with a PC. Power the Motorola Razr v3i on. On the keypad press the top soft key shaped like - or press the round button same thing. Choose Settings/connection/ then choose the USB symbol. That makes the phone connect through the mini USB, it will also charge there from the PC. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |
