Vista With Ie7 No Web Page Display

problem started two weeks ago.Connected to the internet via wireless router but when trying to get homepage
comes back with internet explorer cannot display the web page.Tried other sites with same result.
When diagnosing connection problem comes back with.....is not set up to establish a connection on port world wide
web service(HTTP) with this computer.Router works with my other laptop and desktop.Disabled firewall with no
change.
homepage trying to access is google.laptop with problem is HP with Vista home premium.two other computers
use windows XP Home.
any help would be appreciated
