Windows Media Center Vista and XP

I just got a brand new laptop that has windows vista home premium. It came with Windows Media Center.

My question is can I access my music from my XP desktop from this vista laptop. When I select watch folders from another computer on the network, it doesn't find any.

If it helps I have already set up my xbox 360 to get music from the xp desktop and it works perfectly.

I would suggest first placing some of your music in the Shared Music folder on the XP system. If you're able to access that music, then this is a permissions issue with your accounts. If not, then there's a lot of other stuff to try.
