I have directed my .gif files to open in Animation Shop. All was well until I purchased a new PC with Windows Vista and reinstalled Animation Shop. Now when I click on a .gif it opens Animation Shop just fine but if I open another .gif file, even with Animation Shop running, a new instance of Animation Shop opens. I checked the program preferences in Animation Shop and cannot find any information there regarding how to open .gif files other than to associate them with Animation Shop. I also checked the "Open With" dialog box to see if there was something there I was forgetting but no luck. It is certainly not a major problem, but it is annoying. Any help would truly be appreciated.
