Good Avi To Old School Ps2 Compatible Dvd

I downloaded a movie from this site http://my-movie-download.com/ it is in avi format and I have a ps2 which I want to use as my dvd player. I have dvd-r discs...My PS2 is the old one the phat one or the old school one. I wanted to know what is a good converter that wil let me convert avi to dvd and let me play on my ps2 and the software needs to work on vista.
