Windows Live Messenger Characters Messed Up

Does anybody know how to fix the problem with Windows live, everytime I hit the " ' " key an è comes up, and some other keys are messed up to. How do I fix this? Its driving me crazy. Thnks :huh:

Please go to Start...Control Panel (Classic View)...Regional and Language Options.
Click on the Keyboards and Languages tab, then on the Change Keyboards button
In the General tab in the next window will be several languages. Click on the non-English entry and select Remove.
