Computer description:
Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
3.01 GHz 1.0 GBof RAM
Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
A few months ago the red X showed up. For a couple of says I could not access the c drive. The computer is running slower.
When I'm online IE hangs up, it won't get the next page or finish loading the page. Whe I access my mail thru either hotmail or yahoo not all the features work. But he will on my laptop.
I have run Combofix and have the log. If some one would help me fix this that would be great.

It would be the best to go HERE and read the pinned topics.
Then open another thread and post the log/s needed.
p.s. Just if you wanna try for the C drive icon, do a chkdsk scan. I had a problem once with that icon also, and it got fixed when I checked the disk for errors.
But apparently you have malware, so do what I posted above.
