Hello all,
I ran the auslogic drag at the end it said I had 935 junk files and I should run the junk defrag and it would get rid of them. Should I run this, this is a new laptop with windows xp pro. I am very confused because it only says its due to files being uninstalled. I have only removed a couple of program that I won/t use and I did that in the remove and install.
Thanks

Even using Add/Remove Programs, there will still be some remnants left behind. I notice Auslogic is also a registry cleaner. I wouldn't recommend doing anything with them. If you insist, please back up your registry first

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

If I ever learned one thing its not to mess with registry. I have had to to many clean and reinstalls. Every time I put ccleaner on my computers I have had to redo them. Thank you for your help thats one reason I asked before doing anymore,

Auslogic defines junk files as "files that are left behind by programs, taking up free disk, space slowing down your computer and making defragmentation less efficient. We recommend you run a junk files scan and removal."

There is a Scan and remove junk link. If you click on that link, you will be taken to
http://www.auslogics.com/en/pages/speed-up-pc-a.php

Don't worry about running the scan. Because you can't-unless you purchase the program which will scan and remove the junk files.
