Motherboard Issue How can I tell if the motherboard is damaged?

How can I tell if the motherboard is damaged? I cleaned the inside of my computer, removed the memory (to read the memory card) and put the lid back on and now it turns on but nothing comes up on the monitor. I used "duster and lint remover" spray to clean all dust particles inside the computer and now it doesn't start. I see lights on but nothing comes up on the monitor. I also removed the memory card and put in another memory card and still got the same response. Nothing.

Please tell me you mean a can of compressed air and not some commercial cleaning product. I would suspect that you've knocked something loose when roaming around the inside. Recheck all of you connections for loose wires

Are you sure the RAM module is properly seated? The clips at either end should be snug against the module.

Did you replace the memory module back in the same slot it came out of. I know some MB manufactures a picky if you only have 1 chip installed. (Pc chips for example)
