I Want To Go From Xp To Vista But How? I am confused uninstall xp?

Okay so I have read various threads in and out of this forum and am still very confused...I have a Dell Vostro 1000 I can run every type of vista according to the vista test thing and now I have ultimate but I do not know how to install I currently have XP SP2 installed Do I have to uninstall it and then install vista How should I start after reading many threads I am very confused...Also I only have one harddrive/partition

Is your version of Vista a full version or is the packaging labeled as an Upgrade version? That will dictate what you can and can't do regarding your install of Vista.

Once you answer that question, I will move your thread to the Vista forum.

That seems easy...Thanks so much..Lol I realized I knew how to do it but just got lost at the partition part didn't know how to actually "clean" it first
