I recently reformatted, and found that after the reformat my motherboard drivers weren't installed. After ALOT of work finding out that was the problem, I found the drivers on the gateway website and installed them. Device manager still tells me they aren't installed and I have no idea why. I've tried re-downloading and re-installing quiet a few times now.
I'm using a Gateway GT5056 and I've tried both the motherboard drivers found here
