BleepingComputer.com: Computer Is Beeping! Repeated Long Beeps!

Hello, I've just installed an ABIT KN9 SLI motherboard to replace my fried motherboard. I reseated everything correctly, and even put a new speaker, USB, IEEE pins that go near the CMOS battery & restart pins. It ONLY beeps when I restart my computer, sounds like a BIOS problem T_T. It beeps for ever. Here's what it kinda sounds like: BEEEEEEEEP..............BEEEEEEEEP..............BEEEEEEEEP..................BEEEEEEEEP..................BEEEEEEEEP.......................BEEEEEEEEP REPEATEDLY. I turn of my computer, then open up my case. I tried to reseat the battery nothing, Then I try to use the CMOS jumper pins to restart the bios, wahhlaaa!. But when I restart it happens again =[ When I boot up, it shows an incorrect date. I've tried everything, reseated everything, tried to mess around with my BIOS ect. I haven't tried updating my BIOS cause I don't have a floppy drive at the moment. So this means I can't overclock without it beeping when I save it. Nothing is wrong with it when I'm in Windows excluding the incorrect date. (By the way my BIOS is a Phoenix BIOS)

I would really REALLY appreciate help, I may just bring it to Geek Squad to fix it.

I'm a little confused by your post here. You mean it beeps a lot and then lets you into windows? I'd say replace the CMOS battery on account of the incorrect time/date but that could very well have happened when you reset the BIOS. You also mention O/Cing did you do that before it started its beeping? even tho i'm pretty sure the voltages would be reset when you reset your bios i haven't done it so i don't know.

After resetting the bios and entering windows, are you trying to Re-overclock the computer? The memory may be overclocked too much.

Hello I'm interested in the original failure of the motherboard (fried) Ive just been through this.
I was playing a Game when the Screen went with burnt electrical smell from Computer box.
Pulled the main power point out and did a sniff test inside the Computer. Found graphic card with smell,
Hard Drive okay. Took the Box to a computer tech, he found Motherboard, graphics card destroyed and traced it back
to the Power supply. He advised that the Power supply that was fitted as new was a 20 pin type
and the Motherboard was a 24 pin power type. In short terms the Motherboard and graphic cards were underpowered leading to failure.

It's always been my understanding that the conversion from 20-pin to 24-pin connector only impacted PCI-e function. I know for a fact that I have used 20-pin power supplies with 24-pin motherboards (but no PCI-e card) and have had no known problems.

Some of the more knowledgeable persons here can probably provide you with good info on this aspect of power supplies.
