Video Card Causing Trouble

every time i go to play a video game my video card causes the graphics to freak out and break down specifically vertical lines full of color and distorted 3d shapes I've tried everything I have a Radeon 9800 pro, ive reinstalled the drivers several times please help

Can you upload a screen shot of the problem you are having? It sounds like you are discribing artifacting but I need to make sure that it is that and not some other issue issue with your video card.
