Help Me, There Is No Sound From My Web Browser help

hello,

sorry if i post in wrong place.
i'm new and so desperate.
i can't hear any sound from my browser (youtube, friendster, online video, streaming vidoe. etc)
my com is thinkpad-lenovo-ibm.
my browsers are ie, mozilla, and opera.
i ensure that my speaker is in good condition and there is no mute.
if i play winamp or wmp, there is sound
but
if i play real player, there is no sound.
please help me......
also my veohTV doesn't have sound.
all i have to do to get sound is by downloading all and play in other players, but it's too time consuming.
sometimes there is web which needs sound and can't be downloaded.
help me please.

oh i forgot one more problem.
also my windows doesn't have sound.
log in, shut down, etc.
there is no sound.
what's wrong with my laptop?
someone, help me please.....

i have read it.
but as I said, there is no problem with all that.
i have followed all the instruction in that thread but the result is still the same.
especially i don't know if the system same or not.
i used windows vista basic.
someone who can give other ways out please help me....
