Aol Help! Memorial Day Woes!

Is AOL completely offline today? I have'nt been able to log on since yesterday and it continues to give me an error message when I attempt logging in. :thumbsup:

checked your connection? How do you access AOL? Using a router? Have you tried rebooting?

http://www.aol.com/ works for me. Like tork says, how do you access AOL? Are you using it for an ISP through their software? Or are you talking about the website?

What error message do you get?

I'm getting the same thing. Except for me any email I use does it. Yahoo does the same thing, my mom gets the exact same error when trying to login to AOL. I thought it was perhaps my browser, but Firefox does the same.

I use a Router, but the NAT is open and I haven't touched the router since installing a couple months ago.

   Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet. 
The website is encountering problems. 
There might be a typing error in the address. 
 
   What you can try: 
	 Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.  
 
	 Retype the address.  
 
	 Go back to the previous page. 
 
	 More information 

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including: 

Internet connectivity has been lost. 
The website is temporarily unavailable. 
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable. 
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. 
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section. 

For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds 

Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view. 

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages) 

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline. 
Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.

I get a similar response with Firefox.

**UPDATE**

Haha, was the damned firewall, forgot I had one up. I KNEW it was something extremly simple. It was blocking me from all secure sites.
