Hi.
My Vista laptop seems to be a bit on and off whilst booting at the moment.
When turning it on, the green Windows Vista splash bar moves, but following the transition into Windows where the Windows Orb normally appears, the screen remains black. On some occasions, I get a cursor, on others I don't. This does not change. Upon a re-start, the system tells me Windows failed to boot, and asks me if I want to load the Startup Recovery thing, or start normally.
Choosing the recovery says it is fixing "disk errors", so when its done I re-start. Windows will then boot normally until the next time I turn the computer off, and I have to go through the whole process again.
Any ideas?
