Sql Server ................what? When I access e-Bay lately.

When I access e-Bay lately I get a popup asking me to install Microsoft's SQL server.

I have tried finding out what this is and get the impression I don't need it. What is it, then? How can I stop this irritating popup with its accompanying equally -irritating noise?

I would suggest contacting eBay about this - there are multiple reasons for this (some are valid and some are malware/phishing issues).

Contact with e-Bay tells me that the problem is with my browser. More research on my part needed!
