That's up to you. There's nothing wrong with it but you have to pay for it. And there are plenty of freeware alternatives to the stuff on System Mechanic. For example I use CCleaner to get rid of temp files and Defraggler to defrag.

I have System Mech 6 Pro, I no longer pay for the updates. I use freeware for firewall, antivirus. I never use the Registry fixer or registry defrager because every time I tried to use them it completely screwed up my computer. But it does a decent job with the other things, I like the recovery tool. Overall, it's OK, but like Frankp316 said, you can get most if not all that in freeware.. :thumbsup:

FWIW.
I bought this program on special a while ago as its features sounded pretty good, but when I mentioned it to some techies they threw up their hands in horror, so I never installed it.
