I saw very similar problems in the forum, but not with the event name Live Kernel. I was trying to find out why my CD/DVD drive was not being recognized and how to correct it in the device manager. I also have tried to remove the Epson software that I installed, but can't. Please help and I apologize in advance if I overlooked the same issue.

From the Windows Debugging Tools Help file:

Bug Check 0x117: VIDEO_TDR_TIMEOUT_DETECTED
The VIDEO_TDR_TIMEOUT_DETECTED bug check has a value of 0x00000117. This indicates that the display driver failed to respond in a timely fashion.


It would appear that something is interfering with a driver in kernel mode (most likely the video driver). The first step would be to uninstall your video drivers and install a freshly downloaded copy of the most recently released, WHQL certified drivers from your video card manufacturer.
