To uninstall flash use the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller here. Then try to reinstall.

Hi, Did you install any new applicants or any programs before this promblem occured? Regards, Extremeboy Negative. It just one day decided not to work. So I updated javascript to the new one. I removed all previous versions of javascript and reinstalled it. I also did the same thing with adobe flash player. QUOTE(budapest) To uninstall flash use the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller here. Then try to reinstall. I have done this about 10 times with no such luck. I go to the uninstall on adobe's website and unistall app then try to install the new one. The installing the new one is the problem, the activex or something will not let me dl the adobeflash. The activex works on everything else. I have used the test on the adobe website and it says that I have the current adobe flash player. This is why I am thinking it has something to do with the javascript. Java & Javascript aren't the same thing and shouldn't affect Flash anyway. What browser do you use and look in Add/Remove Programs to see what version of Flash you have.

If it's the activeX Flash player you are talking about, you can check its status on Control Panel>Internet Explorer>Browsing History>Settings>View objects.
Its usually pretty obvious which it is at it will say Flash player or shockwave player etc. If it shows as 'damaged' just delete it and start again. |

I had 2 things that were damaged. I had the shockwave player damaged as well as some funky numbering. I removed both of them. Should I uninstall everything again and start over ? |

Check that active scripting and scripting of java applets is enabled.
1. In IE7 select Tools > Internet Options. 2. Click on the Security tab. 3. Click the Custom Level button. 4. Scroll down to the Scripting section. 5. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets. 6. Click OK. 7. Select YES if a box appears to confirm. 8. Click OK. Close window. 9. Reload page. -------------------- Stupidity has a knack of getting its way.
